My husband and I were having car issues while traveling on a Saturday and they were able to fit us in. James and his team were excellent at diagnosing, locating the parts, and getting us up and going again. Not only did they fix the first issue, but we quickly realized our other car we had with us also needed brake work done, and they helped with that as well. They were very accommodating, pleasant, and trustworthy. When in the area if we ever need we will definitely return!!

Every time I come here they are beyond helpful. I have never dealt with such an honest and caring mechanic shop in my life. This place is definitely the go to for any and all car needs. The staff listens and helps you in any way possible and even looks for the best deal for you, which no place ever does any more. They are definitely customer first. I can't thank you all enough.

Walked in for my 2pm appointment, no greeting from the three workers in the lobby at the time, girl at front desk came to help us but was on her cell phone, walked off said she needed to take a call. Another man came to the computer and seemed agitated that we were even there, couldn’t find my appointment with my name, phone #, anything, kept hounding me if I even made an appointment, showed him the texts and voicemail I had from them confirming the appointment I made a week prior. He got another man to help (10 mins have passed) he found me immediately by my name in the system. Not a single smile or any customer service period… I took my 5 year old daughter into their bathroom and as soon as we closed the door a man was ANGRILY banging on the door. Mr. Tire in Salem, VA., has never given me a reason to go anywhere else. This past week we called about replacing tires. After giving them the size/type needed, they let us know there was a buy one - get one free deal. During the installation, they recognized a brake issue. We were aware of the brakes needing replacement (rotors too worn to turn again) during our last inspection at our regular mechanic's shop 7 months earlier. They did the tires and the brake job very reasonably. The whole process lasted only a little over 75 minutes, which we spent shopping next door at Walmart. The guys are professional, fast, pleasant and honest. Both I and my wife have used them several times with no disappointment.

The team at Mr Tire were professional in all they did in repairing my flat. I came into the shop with a flat from debris from I-81. After checking the tire, it was determined that a new one was needed. They allowed me time to review options and without any pressure helped me get back on the road. I asked to have the donut tire placed into the trunk and was told that it was already replaced and secured as it should be. Very courteous and professional from srart to finish. A bad experience turned into a happy ending.
