It started with the nightmare everyone dreads. Traveling on the interstate headed to another state and the battery light comes on. Thankfully I made it off the interstate and hit the local parts store to see what the problem was. Well turned out to be the alternator and the store closes in 15 minutes!! Ended up just getting a room for the night with my family and we'll figure it out in the morning. So you can imagine at this point the stress and worry that I was going through being stranded 400 miles from home and no tools to get the job done. I went in yesterday to rent a U-Haul for a move, and at the same time a brake fluid warning popped up on my car. I asked Al how soon he could take a look, and he immediately understood the urgency. He told me to leave the car overnight when I returned the U-Haul, and promised it would be done by the next afternoon. That alone set him apart. Any mechanic I’ve dealt with before would’ve had me waiting two weeks just to get in. Instead, Al handled an oil change, brake fluid service, and a full vehicle check. He was completely honest about everything and didn’t try to upsell or squeeze money out of me like so many other shops do. He even checked the valve stem on my driver-side tire, found exactly why the pressure was leaking, and booked me in for that repair at the best price. On top of tha

I have been visiting family from out of state, and when my car broke down, they recommended Al… all I can say is he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful in whatever way necessary. I have two major problems with the car that Al identified. The car was towed to him and whatever magic he did, I was able to drive it back home for 2 1/2 hour trip. In one of my visits, his family was also at the station. I was immediately comfortable and felt a sense of trust in a world lacking.
