Muffler Man

Jason the new owner has really turned the Muffler Man around. I know he was part owner of Garfield Auto and this is his solo shop in Traverse City. The prices were great, I had to get shocks and struts done on my Suburban. As a transportation company owner, finding a solid, trustworthy mechanic is essential and Jason along with his team are above and beyond.

We were going to Muffler Man for both our cars - we worked with Rory, who was excellent. Unfortunately, we haven't seen him in our last few visits and now we've run into some issues with the last few repairs. The last time we went, the price quoted was very high. Then, they had trouble answering the phone - maybe a staffing issue. We called and called while they had our car - no answer - we ended up just taking our car back without the repairs and we ended up going to another reputable place that quoted us significantly less. I'm not sure what's going on and what changed, but, sadly, we've found another place that was very friendly, answers the phone and does good work.

The guys did an excellent job fixing my vehicle. I'll be using them in the future without hesitation. Extremely fair prices, and a pleasure to work with. Thanks you guys for taking care of my noisy issues!

They fixed my muffler. The employee showed me what needed to be fixed and how they are going to fix it. Pricing was simple. 100$ each split and I needed three of them. He didn't just say I needed three of them. He showed me and talked to me about they why they needed to do it. They did the job in about 2 hours and I was on my way! I didn't even know I started my car because it was so silent! Thanks!
