0 stars. If I had one wish it would be that I would have never done business with this company. I purchased a “low mileage 85k miles Japanese b20” from them to install in my Honda crv. The engine came with a 30k mile warranty that I was hoping not to need but unfortunately that was not the case. The motor was delivered to my mechanics shop where it sat for 4-5 days in the meantime that my crv arrived. Within 24 hours of arriving my mechanic had the replacement engine installed and ready for test drive. Motor ran and drove 40 minutes home with no sign of over heating or any cooling issues. Once we parked it,it started to bog out and it died. It struggled to start again so I removed the plug wires to check for spark. This is a great place to go if you need an engine for your Japanese import. I needed one for my Honda, they set me up with a really strong running 1.5 with great compression. The prices are reasonable and customer service was outstanding.

Nad Auto is great. I've never had any problems with their engines and transmissions. I have been using them for a long time and can vouch for them. Eric, the owner is down to earth and will jump through hoops to help you out.

Prices are high and they don't wanna work with you. You pay the price for "JDM" or keep it moving. I don't buy my toys off the lot I build them! and I would only use this as a last Resort if I couldn't find an available engine. They will try and charge a JDM price for American found import engines even if they are readily available and not truly imported engines. Two different calls provided us with two different prices on a Acura K20 one at $800 and one at $2,500. Depending on how we placed the call was how we got the price, dependent on if we sounded like a builder or just someone with a bad engine! And that is a surefire red flag that they adjust pricing per customer's position.

Not the best with communication, i had to call them so many times to get anything done. LIED TO ME and said they were selling me a blacktop sr20det. I instead got a redtop. Which isn't a huge deal but like cmon?????? More of a "just shut up and give me your money" kind of place. Engine came with a CUT HARNESS which forced me to buy a new one from wiring specialties. On their website it says that they clean the engine, provide a compression test, as well as drain all fluids. None of which were done. Did not provide a safe way to transport the engine, it was placed on a pallet with only 1 tow strap so it fell over on the way home and the oil pan got dented. Left a sour taste in my mouth and don't recommend them.
