NAPA Auto Parts - Oregon

Had the parts I needed, but customer service was lacking. I asked if they offered loaner tools to change an alternator and serpentine belt. I was told "no". No mention if they sold tools or anything. Asked if they had a scan gun to check engine code and I was told "No" again. What auto parts store doesn't have a scan gun!?!? No "welcomes" or "thank you" came from employee.

Every single time I order parts at this store it says everything is in stock online "available in 30 minutes" then when I go to pick it up they claim they don't have it in stock. I understand they have limited stock being a smaller store. But at least update your inventory on a regular basis. You're wasting people's time because your straight up laziness and unwillingness to do your jobs.

No code scanner, and lack of general customer service skills from staff.

This place has great parts for good prices. However the customer service experience is lacking. I seem to have been plagued by the same rude guy who works there that I see named in many other reviews. How can someone in the customer service industry continue keeping their job with such a horrible attitude towards customers? Plenty of people can learn how to look up and pick parts, maybe it's time for Napa to find his replacement. That said, the rest of my experience was good and the store manager was helpful.
