NAPA Auto Parts - Southside Parts Company

Update: changing review to 5 stars. Thanks to the owner for clearing up the situation. There was simply a miscommunication with our return (there was no restocking fee) on our end. We appreciate the quick response and courtesy shown by Nikki!

I have used this Napa for years with relatively decent success. Unfortunately, their customer service and competency are now suffering. I called to get a quote on a vehicle battery (I gave them the exact model number of the battery, not the vehicle) which they quoted the best price they could give me was $135. When I got there, they wanted to charge me $204 and said they looked it up wrong. They would not honor the price that they quoted me even though it was their mistake and didn’t even offer any type of allowance for the hour round trip I just traveled to give them business. I won’t say I’ll never go back there again, but it will only be if I can’t get something somewhere else even at a higher price. Your word is your bond.

While troubleshooting an issue with the brakes on my car, I stopped in to buy some cleaner. Asked if there was a good garage because I knew it was a bigger issue than cleaning. They were very nice and referred me to Auto Lane.

I bought a battery from NAPA in Garner NC on 01/17/23. This past Saturday while i was out of town, my battery died. I went into the NAPA in Littleton NC with the battery showing 1/23 and because I didn't have the receipt with me, they would not honor the return of it.

Very unknolegable staff. Every question I had was answered by I don't know. I was buying brake pads and rotors and they couldn't tell me if the more expensive choices where better than the cheaper. Couldn't even tell me the difference. Said I don't know. I have never been to an auto parts store that knew nothing about thier products. Couldn't even recommend which parts to get when he gave me choices. Just said I don't know. I'll never buy parts here again
