NAPA Auto Parts - Wilson's Auto Parts

While Napa has a pretty good selection of miscellaneous parts and tools that some other places do not. Their customer service is lacking in every aspect. I purchased two commercial brand new batteries at the same time one of which was about seven months older than the other and I asked for a discount on said battery and the manager denied basically saying that it was just as good as any other battery. Any mechanic knows that is not true. I also was looking for some permanent trailer lights, and the lady kept showing me magnetic lights and other non-permanent lights showing clear lack of knowledge.

Edit the original which is below this as they reached out to me and upon going back fixed what I was hoping would of been done the first time. Yes it cost me extra time and trip to the store. Went to return an item I purchased the other day and did not used. It was purchased out at a different NAPA miles away. They even said when I purchased it that if not used it could be returned at any NAPA. Not according to Albany NAPA. They won't take back and reimburse me. Great customer service.

I am super impressed by the customer service here. They were super Friendly and knowledgeable. They really worked with us price wise, which helped us out of a big bind we were in financially. They even talked me through questions after purchase over the phone about reinstalling my alternator. Super thankfull to the staff, much appreciated!

Tried to return a belt, never used, had it in the back of the car for 2 weeks. IMO perfectly fine no cracks or worn signs... pictures included. With packaging and receipt. The guy who said he was the manager, after inspecting it declined my request arguing I used it. Very frustrating customer experience. When I know it never left the back of my car, but a very young guy tells you different. Manager experience on customer service should be required before promoting anyone.

Had a couple batteries that were well with in warranty that wouldn't hold a charge and they refused to warranty them. Their lose, i will purchase hundreds of batteries over the next few year but no more from them. Don't have time to mess with a company that won't be honest with someone that spends thousands of dollars a year in there store. No better way to lose a customer than not standing behind a warranty.
