National Car Rental

Excellent as always. One of the few who had a one way rental. I had to drive cross country to Albany NY and they made my situation so much better. I got a nice Jeep Wrangler (my dream car) to drive. It handled well and was clean. Nate and the lady at the front desk on 8/13 were wonderful. National has been my go to since my travels during COVID in 2021 until now. I am an emerald aisle member and will always choose this company over any others. I got to extend for just $85 and the service was excellent all the way to Albany airport. I’ve used other companies but will only use this one and this franchise from now on and forever. They made my tough situation so much better. Me and the Jeep enjoyed the Badlands Park en route to Albany!

If you are looking for great place to do business with....look somewhere else! Having used National dozens of times before, we expected to have the same great experience. However, we were very wrong. Picking up and dropping off the vehicle was easy. While dropping off, the lot attendant didn't have any concerns after looking at the vehicle. One month later, we get a packet in the mail that they are charging us $4,000 for hail damage. Yes, the internet says it hailed in the area. Did we ever see hail? No. And, the car was parked in a carport when not in use. Additionally, we were staying 5 miles from the airport, where the cars are parked outside; so even if there was hail while we had possession, that car would have been impacted regardless. After going back and forth and them not budging,

We rent cars on a regular basis. We’ve used all the top, and not so top brands. (Fox rentals is THE worst). National has been the best. They had competitive rates, friendly service, nice SUV, easy pick up and return. I definitely was impressed and will use them again in the future if the rates remain competitive or better.

Just nice to find a genuinely kind human who isn't just checking boxes, but made the start of my trip to Rapid City a welcoming one. The company needs to keep her around and give her all the thanks!

Had a wonderful experience with National Rental Car. We were taking a trip through 5 states and the only concern was getting our rental car. We had no issues. Our car was clean and ready. No lines, no hassles. RAP is a smaller airport and all rental car companies were out of cars for walk-ups, so make sure that you do online registration.
