National Car Rental

Ryan at the desk took great care of us! We ended up with a wonderful vehicle, which was especially important given the cold, snowy weather and we needed to travel 90 minutes away. My very important carry-on bag with all my meds and other necessities got left by us in the parking garage. We got to our hotel around 11pm and realized this. Katie in the Escalation Department was wonderful in messaging after hours, and we received word yet that night my bag was found. They kept it safe until my husband was able to retrieve it the next morning. I want to mention an employee who was driving the parking garage while I was there waiting to get a different vehicle. She got out of her vehicle and tried to assist me. Excellent customer service!

Day staff are very helpful, competent and friendly. Night staff are a different story. I have rented monthly from this location for almost three years. I arrived after a two hour delay and right before all the rental agencies were due to close at midnight. I was then told that I needed to provide additional physical ID beyond my driver's license or I would not be able to rent a car. If this is a new policy, that is no problem. However, Brennan started relaying stories about how cars are stolen, IDs can be doctored, and how the day staff are "breaking the rules" to help me out. "You look like a nice girl, but we've had a lot of cars stolen." My rental history shows I have been regularly renting from this location almost every month for the last few years, and obviously no history of any

Marc (Dino) and Sarah both helped me when I was in a tough situation with my rental car. Marc called every National and Enterprise in the region and spent hours of his day to try to help me get me situated. I really appreciate the efforts and care they put in for me during a difficult situation. Both great people who do a lot for their customers at the National/Enterprise branch at SYR. Thank you guys for caring and making sure I got a safe rental car that allowed me to get back home. 🙏 Other than this, I have had over a dozen experiences renting from this location while I was working in the area the last 8 months, and every single one of them was pleasant. Cars never had issues, were always very clean, I was always able to get the car I requested, and service was always friendly and quick

Decided to try National SYR back in 2021, after renting from Hertz & Avis and have been with them since. Great service, staff, and car selection (including Audi, BMW, MBZ, Volvo, Land Rover, Cadillac, and rarely even Maserati for upgrades). During one of my first experiences, I booked a Tesla Model X available on the site, extremely excited that they finally adopted the electric SUV (EUV). Arrived with a huge disappointment since the car was never available and the staff at SYR has never even seen the car. Spoke to the manager Bri (I believe she has moved up in position and moved to a different branch); she was extremely understanding and was able to switch me to a equivalent sized SUV albeit not electric (the EUV available was a volvo that was a lot smaller than the Model X) and treated
