It is the end of the journey that matters. And although my recent service journey with Nissan did not start off well, it ended well. Nissan did make an error, an oversight. The cause of my malfunction was NOT their oversight, but it may have been discovered. Another error was a back & forth. But as I mentioned it is the end of the journey that matters. We returned to Nissan 02-19-2026 and last night I told my wife, if they would simply acknowledge their oversight and apologize, that would go a long way. But this back & forth was stressful. The manager did just that. He took responsibility, he apologized, he then fixed the car. When the manager apologized I saw before me a man of strength a person of courage. As an another mechanic watching others service vehicles. I was sickened at the simple task of rotating tires. I watch 4 to 5 vehicles have tires rotated by impacts only. No torque sticks, no torque wrench, no crisscross pattern. At one point the boy didn’t even start the lug nuts by hand he put them straight in the socket and ran it down. For those who don’t know the torque sticks or torque wrench is for proper tightness of the lug nuts. To loose or to tight the stud can snap off and you loose a wheel. The crisscross pattern is to evenly tighten down the wheel to prevent vibration and prevent a warped wheel or brake rotor. The other issue I have is, I was there to have my transmission serviced while it was under warranty. I paid my bill to leave, got in the parking lot. Looked under my c

Hollie was wonderful and kept me updated with how my car was doing. The people working in the shop did an amazing job! I felt I left the car in more than capable hands. Nissan made me feel like a priority and my car has ran more smooth than it ever has before. Thank you to the Nissan family for taking care of me and my car!

service dept texted me the spare tire kit is ready for my new kicks i bought just 4 days earlier. when i got there i was told it would take up to 2 hrs since the service staff is busy. i expressed dissatisfaction since i was expecting the kit to be ready to be placed in my car. somehow the owner loyalty manager (bree) found me and arranged for the kit installation to be expedited. all in all i was there less than an hour. eli in the service dept was very nice and professional. and robbie my sales guy is awesome in every way. i recommend highly nissan of cookeville.
