He took the time to explain the issue in plain terms, gave me a reasonable estimate, and finished the work on time. No upselling, no surprises. Just great work at a fair price. I took my vehicle here for a 100,000 mile inspection. I couldn’t be more pleased with the honestly & transparency from Dan & his staff. He was straight forward about what needed to be done now and what could wait. The online system made it easy to review the inspection results & approve what work I wanted to do. They inspected it, did the work and had it ready for pickup in the same day. I immediately set up an appointment for my girlfriend’s vehicle and will be bringing mine back.

Best service I have had ever. My back left lateral binder broke while driving through Cold water canyon, called AAA and they towed me there, they weren’t open (as expected) so I filled out the drop off info and put the key in the envelope and put in the drop box. I also left a voicemail cause I’m extra lol, they got back to me Monday morning with the diagnosis, they needed to order the part and said it would be ready by Wednesday. Typically I give a little wiggle room cause life happens and things don’t workout sometimes but lo and behold got a call mid afternoon my car was ready on Wednesday! QUICK AND THOROUGH! AMEN. Will definitely be back. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Shoutout to the team here! They’re super friendly and won't rip you off, they actually told me when I didn't need a service. Also they even put up with my headlight incompetence when I tried to force some LEDs into my now "vintage" car. If you want a shop that’s honest and patient, this is the spot!

I first heard of North Hollywood Auto Repair through a friend who gave them a glowing review for their service and honesty. Now, after bringing my own car, I can say with 100% certainty that this is the best auto shop I've ever visited in my life. The mechanics and staff were fast, efficient and incredibly kind to me. They got me in the day after a holiday and I received multiple updates directly from John while they were taking a look at my car, keeping me appraised of the progress. Despite not knowing much about cars personally I left feeling more knowledgeable about my own vehicle. Needless to say if I ever need further repairs I will choose North Hollywood Auto Repair over any other shop, including the dealership. They've earned a life-long customer and I have already recommended them
