Owner really cares. Best transmission shop around. I would go here if you're looking to get your transmission rebuilt or a new transmission installed. These guys are amazing. Don't forget to tell them John Miller with color changer sent you for a smile. No. On a serious note though, they are amazing. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics in my life and these guys really stand behind their product and their work. I own a business and I've brought several vehicles to them and they have always done me good and completed the jobs in a timely manner and cost effective. Most times you only get to experience a transmission shop once or twice hopefully With the amount of vehicles I have they have done two of them for me and they are amazing company. North Idaho transmission all the way.

A HUGE thumbs up for North Idaho Transmission. I took my truck to the shop when I had a problem after performing my own maintenance. Although I had not scheduled an appointment Dave quickly worked me in to his rotation and had my truck back to me in less than half a day. He was kind enough to walk me through the steps I’d need to avoid future issues if I do my own maintenance but I can now see the advantages of bringing my truck to his shop for professionally performed service at a very reasonable price. I will most definitely recommend this family business.

Completely blown away with my entire experience with North Idaho Transmission & Auto Care. Not only did they give me confidence in their knowledge about rebuilding my transmission, but got it done incredibly quick. Their prices are hard to beat as well and offer a great warranty!(better than everyone else I had contacted). I will definitely seek them out for any future repairs and I will highly recommend them to all friends and family.

They were extremely professional and got my truck completely fixed and the price was exactly what they had quoted me plus tax and my truck runs phenomenally now I'm very impressed and very happy with the work that they have done. I had a complete rebuild on my transmission and I couldn't be happier!!!

Very positive experience. It was clear that the owners were genuinely interested in helping me as a customer. They were quick to look at my truck and were very welcoming from the beginning. They were honest in their diagnosis of the problem and referred me for a simpler solution. They informed me that if they were further problems that I could bring it back within 30 days to be looked at further at no additional cost. I highly recommend anybody with a transmission issue to reach out to North Idaho transmission.
