Doug is both an excellent mechanic and guy, who treats everyone well. He I wish I'd bought my car with him, but he's been great in teaching me about each repair, how the previous owner cut corners with plastic and rubber parts that degrade over time, and how he'll repair coolant hoses, fuses, and even the control arms, showing you the pieces in question before carrying out the repairs. He offers a wonderful blend of honesty, quality, and reasonable prices.

Recently I had a tune up done for my Toyota Sienna and I'm so grateful to Doug and his team in taking great care of my vehicle. I'm glad I went here because of their commitment to good work, care of customers and competitive prices. I really appreciate how he explained the service to me and also showed me parts of the process to keep me as a customer informed. I recently came in because I needed a new radiator, on Black Friday so not many places were open but Doug was and let me tell you this man is a life saver !! He and his crew got the new radiator and installed all in 24 hours . Definitely recommend if you have car troubles and need a reliable mechanic . Thanks again Doug !!

Duoc is the real deal. After getting quoted $3K–$7K for a repair I didn’t need, Duoc diagnosed the real issue, fixed my timing belt tensioner, coil pack, and spark plugs — all for under $1K. Honest, skilled, and no BS. If you want a mechanic you can trust in San Diego, this is the place. 🙌

This place is great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I purchased a ‘97 4runner about a year ago from here and they stand by the used cars they fix up and sell. I have had several minor issues and one serious issue arise in the year after purchase (as any old car can have) and they’ve taken care of all of those issues quickly, and they fixed nearly all of them for free. If you’re looking to buy an older 4runner, Land Cruiser or jeep I’d highly recommend you stop by. And/or if you’re looking for a cost-conscious garage that gets the job done without gauging you, this is your place to go. These guys are good people.
