Northern Auto Repairs

Superb service and customer care!! I brought my 2019 Chevrolet Colorado in for a repair, with a bit of urgency. My truck had been repaired the prior week in Palm Coast, Florida. But, upon the drive to Michigan, it was discovered the repair was not done properly. I contacted Northern Auto Repair, who immediately arranged for my vehicle to be serviced. They were thorough and its diagnosis, and thorough with keeping me abreast of the type of repair needed, and the cost associated with the repair. I highly recommend Northern Auto Repair! My intent was to gift my son who has three young daughters with this truck, as I wanted him to drive a more reliable vehicle in Michigan. Many thanks to Northern Auto Repair for making this wish of mine come true!!

I scheduled an appointment with Northern Auto after trying to schedule an appointment with another repair shop in Ferndale. I was was not able to get through to the Ferndale shop, despite numerous attempts, as their number went to a fax machine. I went to Northern Auto’s website and it was a very user friendly way to schedule the appointment. Plus, I received both text and email communications. They even respond to questions via text! The team was professional and Kamile, who does the intake, asked all the right questions to get to the root of my issue and assist the tech with the diagnosis. They finished my car in a day, and the issue I brought it in for seems to be resolved and my car is riding like new. Overall, it was a great experience and I liked supporting a locally owned busine

I've been taking my vehicle to Northern for repairs the past couple of years. I've always received great service! Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about making their customers happy and are not just out to make a buck. They offer free inspections and let you know of any issues your vehicle might need. Not pushy in any way. Their prices also seem very reasonable. I would highly recommend this business.

I’ve been looking forward to having a reason to come here due to the good reviews - unfortunately when I called to ask about how much it would cost to have my rear shock absorbers replaced (a wear part that any car has to have replaced at some point - not an issue to requires a diagnosis) I was told that it’s the owner’s policy not to give prices over the phone. Eric was very nice and courteous but I don’t know why on Earth I would have someone do work just to surprise me with a bill at the end.

Northern Auto Repairs has always been honest and fair when we have taken our vehicles in. Rodney was extremely patient with my car unusual electric repair problem. Even though the solution could not be found (no fault on them), they were honest about it. I think that says a lot. I have Northern Auto Repairs on my speed dial for all my vehicle repair needs.
