Nu Auto Repair

I have been taking my car to Nu's auto for over ten years. They are absolutely the best auto repair shop in San Diego. Very fair pricing and don't try to up sell you on repairs that don't need immediate attention.

I went there to get my My bulb changed for my headlight for my right side and now the left side headlight is Out he charged me $30 just to change the bulb and wouldn’t change the other bulb talking about all. I have to bring it back to get the other bulb changed so he could charge me another $30 before that he had me replaced a lot of things in my car so I can pass a smog and charge me 200 for each part that he replaced so that was $400 and it’s in it still didn’t pass the damn smog this man is ripping off females that come in there, thinking we don’t know no better which clearly I don’t know why I came for him to change the light bulb in the headlight and he would do that and I’ve been going there for years where my husband have but my husband passed away so Don’t take your car up there H

We needed the starter replaced in our 2002 Silverado. We initially went to Convoy Auto Repair and was quoted over $800 for the starter and labor. Now that seems overpriced to me. My husband Googled it and said that’s about average price. Ugh, I did not want to shell out that much. Anyways, luckily my sister knew someone who knows the owner here at Nu Auto Repair. We gave them a call and low and behold we are told $350 for a starter and labor. We got the truck towed to Nu Auto Repair when they opened this morning at 8am and picked up the truck around 11am. Quick, easy process, and they even topped off our coolant since it was running low. Now that is what I call service. Thank you, Andy, Nu Auto Repair, and our mechanic, Matt!
