I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with this body shop. This was by far the most unprofessional and questionable service I’ve ever encountered. They attempted to charge me $750 for an estimate alone — no parts ordered, no labor performed, no repairs started. When I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere, they refused to return the $250 deposit I had put down toward my deductible, despite no work being completed. and demanded $500 more. Communication was poor and slow throughout the process. Based on how things were handled, I would strongly caution anyone considering leaving their vehicle here — you may be waiting far longer than expected without clear updates. From the very beginning when I started inquiring for estimates this company stood out. They replied quickly & gave me thorough information. Came in for a free estimate, didn’t feel pressured to accept anything. The guys at the front are very friendly. Now as far as the work done, we brought in my son’s 2003 Subaru because his car was hit in a parking lot, they gave us a very fair estimate. We brought the vehicle in the next day, they gave us a 2-3 day estimate time of the vehicle being ready. Car was ready when they said, the work done was way more than we could have hoped for, they left it brand new they even buffed out and fixed some spots on the bumper that weren’t part of the accident! Highly recommend NYLA Magic Recon. I'm a returning customer and will continue to be. Recently, Jose was very helpful with assisting in the repair of a damage done to my car that was done on another shop. He provided great insight, detailed explanation, and transparency with how they deal with their repairs. To say the least, he went above and beyond. Adjacent to this review is proof of the great job they did repairing the spindle, barring, and hub of my car. In previous times, Sam has also been very helpful with communication and explanation of the repairs done to my car. ¡Absolutely stop by if you need any help with repairing your car! I had multiple issues with my vehicle, the radiator was leaking, my front bumper was popping out, and a part of my support beam was bent. I was able to get all of that fixed at Nyla Magic Recon. Being a mechanic, body shop, and detailer, they were able to offer me all the services I needed to get done. They were honest and the pricing is competitive. They took great care of my car. After the work was done I asked if they could give my car a wash and they did a fantastic job. My radiator has been running great with no issues, they were able to bend back my support beam saving me hundreds!!! My bumper is back in place looking brand new, and my car looks spotless after they handed me the keys. I highly recommend this place, definitely great work and will be back if I need to.
