O'Connor Woods retirement community in Stockton, California, offers its residents a very safe, comfortable, and affordable lifestyle. The staff and management here are outstanding, and they really care about the residents. There are countless activities for residents and a very serene campus.

Nurses DOES NOT take care of patients at ALL! My great great grandpa was left on a chair for hours, was not supposed to do sitting for to long to due he's legs. Left food over he's mouth for God nows how long it was on is face for. Left scapping around his mouth due to the food being left on his face. He's supposed to have a brace on his foot due to having a fractured knee. They took it off and never put it back on. Even the next day they never put it back on. They didn't change his diaper when it needed to be changed. They didn't clean him up at all after having him sit in his feces. They never take him showers. So upset that they don't take care of their patients here.

My husband and I moved to O'Connor Woods a year ago and are so glad we did. We feel supported and safe. The three things that I like most about OCW are the genuine friendliness of the people (both residents and staff), the beautiful grounds, and the focus on healthy aging. I especially appreciate the fitness center with its heated pool and enthusiastic staff.

I helped move my Parents in here last July 2023. They love it there. I am so happy that they can spend their golden years there at such a great, safe, fun and warm place. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom and dad. Lori Wilson

This is the best retirement community my family has found. Everyone is friendly, understanding and helpful when you need it. The food in the main dining room was good. The chef didn't go out on a limb to create outlandish food but still, most everything had an extra spritz of lemon or lime. Or the spaghetti had fresh thyme and basil. Of course, there was an option to order a plate without the specialness. The wait staff were mostly young men and women from the local college, Many of them were enrolled in classes with a focus on geriatrics. Hence the servers really are happy to meet you and to hear your [short] stories, and they are very good at remembering names. Close in parking is available. A shuttle to anywhere is available.
