Ohio Truck Equipment

I would absolutely never buy another truck here again. It ended up taking 3 weeks longer to build because of other trucks they were having issues with which wasn’t really a big deal to me until having all these other issues….. to start, when I first got there to pick up my new tow truck the PTO wouldn’t work, they “forgot” to add a few of the things I wanted them to add on the truck (tool box trays, broom & shovel holder, and a hose reel). So while looking at the truck I asked if the wheel covers were in the truck? Jeremy responded no, these new trucks don’t come with them. (I have bought 5 new trucks in the last 4 years and every truck came with them) so he could tell I was kind of irritated so he offered to run me to the local parts store to buy me wheel covers while his mechanic pulled

Wes and his team have always been on point for us! We have given them tight timelines and very unique requests and they have come through for us each and every time! Pricing has always been fair and reasonable and workmanship is top notch! When other shops quote several weeks lead time they have it done before the other guys would even pull it into their shop. It is not a short drive for us but absolutely worth the drive knowing they will take care of our needs!

I bought 2 carriers from them 3 years ago. Just really disappointed in the craftsmanship. To this day I find issues with build quality. Now I don't except stuff to last forever. I can tell you that I had issues the second day and within a Month of purchase, many. Like just today I found they installed the winch cable without a wedge. Now I'm off to buy a wedge somewhere to do it properly. Lack of knowledge!

Wes is in the process of building my 4th Hooklift from them. I cannot say enough good things about him and his team. I will not Have my trucks up-fitted anywhere else except Ohio truck equipment. When it comes to repairs as well of things that I have tore up, they are always glad to get it taken care of for me as soon as possible. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy.

A masterclass in customer service, especially Wes and Ryan who have answered my calls at all hours when emergency’s hit on our hooklift truck. Only Swaploader service provider we trust our trucks with . It’s worth driving the extra hour to go see these guys and know they are going to get to the bottom of any Issue and get us back on the road !
