OKC Rental Car Center

The OKC Rental Car Center offers free 24/7 shuttle service between the airport and the rental facility. Shuttles run continuously, and I’ve never waited more than about 6-8 minutes. The ride itself is quick - only about 3-4 minutes. I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve rented here and have never had any issues getting a vehicle. The staff at the counter are always efficient and prompt, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Today, a kind female employee noticed me in the parking lot as I was struggling with my bags getting out of my car. I gave her the car keys and she checked my vehicle quickly. I was rushing to get to my flight (which I ended up missing anyway) but she was the first kind person I met today that soothed my distress. She even helped me haul my luggage to the shuttle. I couldn't be any more thankful. Such a kind heart and deserving of praise and recognition and more greatness. I wish I'd asked for her name. Thank you. ❤️ Besides that, I rented my car through Dollar Thrifty, the only agency present that had cars available for walk-ins. All of the employees were very informative and greeted me with enthusiasm and warmth. Thank you all so much for making my visit to Oklahoma so hospitable.

The so called security personnel is beyond ridiculous. Please make sure you read all the signs upon entry and heaven forbid you get dropped off in the wrong lane. You will be spoken to dis respectfully and the elderly lady will try to slam your door on you if you attempt to to exit your vehicle. You definitely will have to exercise restraint because she is aggressive. Please utilize all the conflict resolution skills you possess as you will need them. Please pray for a a smooth day and approach with caution. Safe travels my friends 😘😘

BE AWARE: YOU HAVE TO TAKE A SHUTTLE! The main negative part of my experience was finding where to pick up my rental. The location says "in terminal" when I made the reservation but is actually about a 6-minute shuttle ride away from the airport. The shuttle is free to ride and runs frequently (arrives every 5-10 mins) but the area to stand for pickup is not well marked or well lit and is not obvious where it is from baggage claim. I had a late flight (arrived around 11pm) and the rental agency closes at midnight, so I was stressed and couldn't find where to pick up my car. One of the few employees in the baggage area managed to direct me to the pickup area.

I don't even want to provide a 1 star for the enterprise at this location. Upon arrival I discovered I had made a error in my reservation. The person at the counter refused to help me change the day. They then claimed that the money I'd already paid would release so I could go to a different rental place and the money didn't release until the day before I am leaving. (6 days) This location has ruined my visit to Oklahoma. I've never had this experience with enterprise and even when I called in they said they didn't understand why this branch was unable to help. Renters beware, Uber to a different branch if you can help it at all.
