Saved me from HUGE and unnecessary repair bill (at another shop). I had my van tuned up at a "reputable" (according to yelp) shop and they were unable to complete the job due to a "frozen" #1 spark plug, where I was told that the cylinder head would need to be removed, the repair effected, and replaced, coming to around $1200. While I considered what to do (I don't use the van a lot) I purchased a rebuilt head, thinking that I could at least save on the head repair charge but, when I contacted the shop to inform them of what I'd done and to schedule an appointment, I was told that the charge would now be about $1450(!!!!!!!) which sounded to me like some serious bullfruit.
