OOROO Auto - Oro Valley

I am the father of the reviewer, Ross S, whose initial review was on 1/23/26. I was involved in this transaction quite a bit and was present during the first meeting we had after getting the car inspected. I can say without hesitation that what my son stated in his review was true. I can also say that the owner's response stated several things that were not true. The manager, Dustin, when we first picked up the car after the inspection, did in fact make it sound like it was no big deal to get another gas tank. He never once indicated that it could take a long time or that they may not be able to find one. He did however make it sound like Mustangs in this year range often had fuel tank issues and that all you had to do was find a good used one. He was CONFIDENT this could be done.

I took my new car to their location two entire weeks before I needed to have it smogged and registered, as my check engine light persisted. They proceeded to inspect it for an arguably hefty price, then tell me my gas tank needed to be replaced (also for an arguably hefty price). After three days, I decided I would like to go ahead with them ordering a tank, as it was very time sensitive at that point. No calls were made to me, their customer, to keep me updated as to the specifics of the tank arriving, and as a concerned (and apparently more proactive person), I had to call them to receive ANY form of an update throughout the ENTIRE process. I used to go to Friendly Automotive because they were rated highest in all of Tucson, but it started to become a real hassle trying to get there without any ride, it isn’t in a location I like, and its not a very pleasant waiting experience because I am someone who appreciates beauty. I have been noticing for years the OOROO magnets on everyone’s vehicles in the area, and just realized that it is a CHOICE these people are making so I decided to give it a try. The only regret I have is not going with OOROO sooner! I love where I live and now I love where I live even more! Not only does OOROO have an amazing shuttle service, I have the relief of now not being stressed when I need to get maintenance on my vehicle in terms of how to get there and back. The OOROO folks are always courteous, friendly and informative. The shuttle service makes for a very convenient transaction as well. Mikayla(sp?) was shuttle driver today; safe, courteous, efficient and professional.

This was my first time at Ooroo and safe to say I will be using them for all of my automotive needs going forward, they are a class act! From the first person who picked up the phone to the shuttle driver to the knowledgeable people at the front desk I was very impressed with everybody’s professional and friendly service. They ended up not charging me a dime for the inspection or looking into the problem I brought the car in for (squeaky breaks). Can’t recommend these guys enough.
