It’s been just over a month now , but on January 25 th 2026 , my 5 year and 2 month old battery was just about Dead . This was a little after 12 :00 noon on a Sunday . It had been cold and raining since the day before and the rain had just let up , and it was the first of two straight weekends of Extreme cold and a Deep Freeze that was going to occur in this area . The temperature at the time was 44 degrees with a wind chill of 31 in the middle of the day . I live between the Auto Zone and O ‘Reilly ‘s and therefore I could have chosen either one to check my battery . I chose this particular O’ Reilly’s because I had used both them and the Auto Zone in the past , and I loved and Remembered the customer service i had previously gotten at this O’Reilly’s as opposed to to the Auto Zone .
