Just a huge THANK YOU from this Dad. My daughter was driving back from Mizzou home coming to Chicago area and the oil light came on. After I had her check the oil level and calm her down that the car wouldn’t explode (haha), I stayed on the phone with her until she reached the O’Reilly store in Vandalia. I’m not sure who helped her but they helped calm her down, assess that she just needed a quart of oil, put the oil in for her and got her back on her way home. That’s just being great humans and it meant a lot to me and her mom that someone cared. Thank you thank you thank you

Needed a spark plug for lawnmower. Took old one with me. They didn't have champion rc14yc. Sold me a rc12yc. Said it would work too. Same thread count so it will fit. Many spark plugs have same thread count. Doesn't mean it will work. So I dive deeper. Take off air filter to get to carburetor. Then I Google, will the 12 work in place of 14? Nope. I called them to explain my frustration. The guy says, didn't know it was on a lawnmower. Really? Because other dude said he used those on his before and it worked. I ended my conversation with just take care of the customer. If you don't have what they are needing, don't sell them something they don't need just to make a sale. Take care of the customer ALWAYS. Even if they have to go to your competition

Great people, they helped me replacing temporary tire. Very nice people. our tire got flatted and my temporary tire was unable to come from the trunk. They helped us to fix the temporary tire.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The biggest shout out to Kyle at the Vandalia Mo O'Reilly's, I have had nothing but the best experience with this location and Kyle himself!! O'Reilly's has been great! Tony knows everything there is to know about car parts and always tries to give me the best deal. He will often even install simple things like headlight bulbs and windshield wipers for free. Great place to do business!!!
