I had a great experience with the shop and the team is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, so I understood exactly what was going on with my car. They were well-informed, professional, and very easy to work with.

Put a bunch of dents on my truck doors. Had rear calipers replaced on Lincoln last week and techs didn't torque the nuts down. Rear wheel almost fell off when wife was driving on the highway back from PA. Could have killed my pregnant wife!!! Sloppy work! Careless!!! <<update>> the owner Frank reimbursed me for damages promptly despite having health issues. Added one star because of this.( Ended up finding more damage to the suspension and wheels later on. Repairs I had to pay more than $2k out of pocket. They also left a bunch of dents on the door if my other truck). Not much makes me more mad then someone else damaging my vehicles.

Took my car to Ormsby Auto for a Maryland state inspection and it was a total joke. They keep repeating that they “strictly follow MD state guidelines,” but anyone who’s actually looked at the guidelines online can see they’re not following them at all. They fail things for the slightest of reasons, then immediately try to sell you their own mechanic services to “fix” it. When I questioned it, they hid behind the “we’re just following the rules” excuse, even though the rules are public and easy to read. It’s nothing more than a money grab dressed up as legitimacy. And judging by all the other 1-star reviews saying the exact same thing, I’m clearly not the only one who’s had this experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

I wish I had paid more attention to the other reviews calling MD Inspection at Ormsby a scam. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed it. I brought my car in for a state inspection and was told it failed, with a repair quote of $1,000. Something didn’t feel right, so I went next door for a second opinion—passed instantly without needing any repairs at all. This place feels more like a setup than a legitimate inspection station. Be cautious and definitely get a second opinion before agreeing to any work.

They took me same day that was good. Then they charged $40 to peel a tinted sticker off my side markers. $40.
