At first wasn't sure about these guys, being new to town and such a small shop. Then had a small hiccup due to their computer system problem. But then was able to get my truck in and looked at, they were able to order parts, got them fast, and repaired my truck with no other issues. Also Matt helped me out , gave me a discount, on my bill due to issue on first drop off & inconvenience. I like smaller shops, owner/operators, and local businesses. Reccomend these guys!!

Was quoted on price over the phone for a simple fluid flush. Paid over $100 more to get my keys back in person. Was told my truck would be ready at 2pm. Walked all the way back to be told the person working on my truck went home and no one knew if it was finished. Sat around for another hour until it was finished then watched as a tech pulled blindly out into on coming traffic and floored it up the road for the “ road test “. Very unprofessional. Didn’t like seeing my truck driven like that and didn’t appreciate making an appointment and being told one price then paying considerably more once it was finished to get it. Just seemed a little sketchy

Simply the best mechanic in Pierce County. Aaron and his crew at Orting Automotive have my family's unswerving loyalty. The work they do is quick, professional, and DONE RIGHT. Plus, he's a great guy who takes the time to answer questions and explain WHY a piece of work needs to be done, not just THAT it needs to be done. I notice the 1-star review from four months ago makes mention of the length of time it took to see his vehicle and get it repaired. Please be advised that there was a significant family issue that Aaron was dealing with at that time that it is not my right to share, and please notice that it is exactly ONE review of such nature from a time period that I know was exhausting and draining for Aaron and his crew. I got an oil change the day after they opened and it was great. I called for a quote and it was quickly sent via email and also a text with a link. When finished I was given a normal receipt and also one was sent via text with a link. The price was fair, same as other places, but the location is super convenient if you live in Orting. Also, the final price was cheaper than the quote so I appreciated the honesty.

They got me in quick, communication was great and they were very honest and upfront with me.
