Sold me a bad engine, my car was ready to take home but now the project is set back another month and I’m set back $3k plus thousands more in an engine rebuild. What’s unfair again?

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience left me with no choice. I bought an engine from this shop that was supposed to be “ready to go.” That was the promise—no issues, drop it in, and get back on the road. What I got instead was a bad engine that clearly wasn’t tested or properly inspected. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. I needed that engine to make an urgent trip to see my grandpa one last time. Because of this failed purchase, I missed his funeral. That’s something I’ll never get back. When I reached out to the seller about the condition of the engine, I got nothing helpful in return—just excuses. No solution, no responsibility taken. Sold my friend a bad motor, then said they can inspect it for him, and ‘wave their fee’ but it’ll be a couple weeks before they can get to it. Don’t buy from these guys. Seemed great, like really standup guys until you try to get some help on something you buy. Motor is seriously bad, piston rings installed upside down, huge scoring on cylinders, low compression, bearings toasted, etc. they won’t make it right.

Nice clean shop! I did brief business with the owner and got a real good deal on some parts that ended up not fitting my truck...... Originally I assumed the guy knew what he was doing because he sure did talk a good good game but after I got home and got all greasy I realize that was a furthest thing from the truth !!!!! M to pmy bad assumptions will always disappoint you!!!

Installed performance camshaft and a gear drive timing, as well as performance carb tune!! Myself as well my truck are HAPPY AS CAN BE!!! glad I stopped bye!! THANK YOU OUTLAW PERFORMANCE!!! OUTSTANDING JOB!
