Paige Garage

We were visiting Blackwell to see the quilt trail but heard a terrible sound under our car as we were getting ready to leave. We stopped by Paige’s Garage and Derry diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and got us on the road. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he immediately got to work on our car so we could get on the road quickly.

Derry Paige saved my life!!! Well not quite, but he sure did get me back on the road quickly while going cross-country. I was pulling a heavy load when my fuel pump took a dump and my Rig literally stalled pulling into Paige Garage! His shop is very cool with all of the modern equipment that enables Paige to function efficiently. There is a touch of the nostalgic in the boneyard with Classics from all Eras. Derry's upbeat can-do attitude and fair prices are another throwback to times-gone-by. With the bad rep that automotive shops (big and small) have earned by (severely) marking-up parts and overcharging hours, it is refreshing to find honest service with a genuine smile! Thanks Derry, you da Man!

These guys are the absolute BEST! They are honest, fast, and do great work! They are the only mechanics I will use anymore and I don’t live in Blackwell. Super friendly too and very fair rates. You won’t want to go anywhere else!

Our RV broke down on our honeymoon just outside of Blackwell. Derry the owner was so kind and accommodating to help us! A person at the truck stop we broke down at told us to find him, because he knew how to fix carb van rvs (which is hard to find now, most only know how to work on fuel injected vehicles). He rearranged his work and worked overtime to help us, so we could still have our honeymoon. We still talk about Derry and think about how much we appreciated him, his help and how he saved our honeymoon. We are now selling our rv years later, and Derry’s help and work he did on our rv is still the most trusted help we found. Thank you so much for all your help!

They did what they could to help Little Lulu out but, she still need a whole engine replacement in the end. The price was reasonable and the mechanics were very friendly. Easy-going sort of small town feel. Wish they could have done more but, Lulu wasn't treated to well before I got her and something locked up for good. They recommend me to a tow company to get her back home and the price for those guys wasn't too bad either.
