I highly recommend Paradigm Van Conversions! While my husband and I are at the beginning of camper van ownership, after years of research on conversion options, we firmly landed on Paradigm Van Conversions for several reasons. Our first priority was function off grid- hot and cold climates. Our second priority was seating and sleeping 4 in a van no longer than 19.5'. Ideally we wanted bed flexibility so when there was only the 2 of us, we could have more room. Their bed system is incredible with its versatility (and it's done with the use of hardware...not fancy electronics that can malfunction). I really enjoyed my experience with Justin and Paradigm Vans. It took over a year to get my van from Ford so that allowed many exchanges with Justin, including a visit to PV, and each time he was very thorough in his responses to my many questions. I appreciated his business model of building on only Ford Transits and offering single functional configuration. This approach enables a refined design at an affordable price and a quick build timeline. Custom build shops are at the other end of the spectrum in terms of design, cost, and time. First saw a pre-market install of the new Code 7 bed for Sprinter vans at Overland Expo West '25. My husband, who had a Big Three career in many aspects of auto manufacturing, was blown away by the innovative design and beautiful machining and insisted that this was THE system for our newly-purchased (used, with 13K miles), 2024 Sprinter. Waited two months for them to become available and had the great folks at Paradigm install one, only to have them discover a pretty significant and undisclosed body repair on the van, that we spent the next two months trying to have resolved by the vendor. After three years of exploring options, we chose Paradigm to build our Ford Transit adventure van in July 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the decision.
