Customer Reviews
Dropped my car off for regular service, plus one other minor light issue that could be addressed at another time. They proceeded to keep my car for 3 days with complete lack of communication after many attempts to text/call CJ our service advisor. Ended up having to wait around the dealership, again being ignored, after begging for them to give me my car back. Wouldn’t have been an issue if they adequately communicated with their clients, especially when I never gave them the OK to keep my car for several days.
In the 8 months since I purchased my car from Paretti Mazda, they have had 3 different managers of their service department. That says a lot. My experience with the service department has been very poor, as they try to make money off of you but ignore problems with the car that are still under warranty. With this lack of service, I will buy my next Mazda from Carvana or some other internet seller as the reason to buy from a dealership is to have the service department on your side. This service department at Paretti has failed me repeatedly.
The quality of Mazda vehicles has gone down significantly. I own two mazdas. I have a defective Infotainment screen on my Mazda6 that apparently should be recalled but Mazda has not done so for the later year models. The Screen does the ghost changing of radio channels and map without you touching or changing anything. This has occurred twice since I've owned the car. First time Paretti said the Infotainment needed to be "updated" for $40 to fix the problem. I Just brought the car in again and Paretti wanted me to pay $600 to replace a "defective" Mazda Infotainment system. Paretti also said the Infotainment system needed to be "updated" again and i needed to pay another $60. I Did not pay to replace the Mazda defective Infotainment screen equipment. Came in about an hour before closing with no appointment for a minor issue: my TPMS light wouldn’t turn off. I felt bad dropping by last minute, especially knowing how busy the team had been (the phones were backed up that day), but my service advisor, Ms. Kim, was so kind and helpful. She brought me to the service bay, and had someone immediately put air in my tires, and got the light turned off right away. As a first-time car owner, I was so grateful she took the time to show me the ropes and reassured me that I was always welcome to walk in if I truly needed to. She made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. My TPMS light hasn’t come back on since. Thank you, Ms. Kim! I appreciate you!
DO NOT BUY A CAR OR BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. This dealership makes zero effort at customer service. They insist on sticker price when selling their cars, and never honor service appointment times. They will take your car in the morning and call you hours after your appointment has passed to tell you to come pick it up because they have no intention of honoring your appointment. I was told "we can make another appointment for you a couple days from now, but we can't guarantee that we can get to it then either". Once I told them that my new car was making a noise it shouldn't be making and they told me to turn the radio up. If you live in the greater New Orleans area you should rethink Mazda since this dealership is the only option. I ultimately drove 3 hours away to
