Parkway Auto Of Johnson City

Waited about 2 months in to write this, I got a 2018 dodge charger RT from these guys and I dont understand the low review rating (3.6). Speaking/negotiation with Shane was incredibly easy, not to mention the bad-ass deal they gave me on the vehicle (20,500ish out the door, 90k miles, no mechanical problems). They undercut almost all other dealers nearby on this vehicle; I will say though, the car was previously owned by a smoker so it smelled of cigarettes until I got it properly cleaned. THESE GUYS ARE WORTH THE MONEY. If you aren't sure about a vehicle's condition, they will gladly put the car on hold for an inspection. Will return to these dudes if im ever in the market for a car again 🫡

So let me start this review by saying I take full responsibility I didn't listen to my gut and the only reason I am leaving a review at all is so that the next person looking to buy from this dealership has something to think about, so here goes 2 weeks ago I went to this dealership and purchased a 2014 jeep rubicon I test drove it with my brother and noticed some concerns but when we returned Mark had answers for all of what we thought were issues so I wrote him a check for 19 thousand dollars and drove it home, a week later I took it to the jeep dealership for a oil change and tire rotation and just an overall inspection to see where we were. Bought a car off of Shane Ray at parkway auto in Johnson city next to the Acura and Mazda dealership. Stand up guy who was straightforward and honest. The Camry I bought was as described online with no issues. I paid under book value. I would highly recommend them for your next used car purchase. One of the best parts is they have no doc fees or hidden fees at all. The price on the car is what you pay plus taxes and tags.

In the last 12 years I have bought 7 cars. This was by far the best experience. The guys at Parkway Auto made buying a car as simple as buying a loaf of bread. I called to make sure the car I wanted was available, then went in to test drive it. The car was great but with a few expected flaws as it is a 13 year old car. As I pulled into the lot I had a number in my head that I was going to offer them. The only problem is he offered it to me for less than that right off the bat. So I bought it. No extra fees, no doc fees, only the price of the car and the taxes and fees the state wanted. Great guys here and a good car. I only wish I could rate them more than 5 stars.

Short version called and ask if car had rust. Salesman said no just discolored because of age. I get there after hour drive and look under vehicle 2007 FJ Cruiser with 122k and snap a pic. Walk in and two salesmen there one on phone. The other one asked how he could help, I asked if he was the one I talked to on the phone. He replied no it must have been the guy who was currently on the phone. He was going to let me wait to talk to the guy I already had and I told him no need. Just maybe quit lying to customers. I showed the salesman the pic I had just taken and his reply was that wasn't rust. So you have two salesmen that don't see rust. Good Luck
