Paul’s Auto Maintenance

Paul and his team do great work. I’ve been going here for a few years since it was close by to my apartment. I’ve gotten many things done like brakes, suspension, A/C. All have worked well after the team fixed it. They take time to send over pictures and videos of the issues if needed. They also are super honest, giving multiple options of repairs and costs. Would recommend anyone to bring their car here.

Paul seemed friendly until he tried to pressure me into getting some work done because my inspection was due on the same day I brought my car into the shop. He tried to overcharge me for something that wasn't necessarily needed for the inspection to pass, yet that I managed to do myself in an hour and a half without any sort of previous experience. Inspection passed with no issues at another nearby repair shop.

I’m relatively new to the neighborhood, and I read the recommendations and reviews of Paul’s online. They did not disappoint- Paul and his team were friendly, welcoming, and honest about the scope of work that needed to be done on my car. I’ll be going back for any future maintenance needs, and I’d recommend to anyone in Astoria looking for a reputable local mechanic.
