Payless Car Rental

By far the worst service I’ve experienced. There were over 27 customers waiting in line and only one clerk working on a Sunday. It took three hours—yes, three full hours—just to get a car. This level of staffing and organization is unacceptable for a rental company. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

It took nearly 40 minutes to get a car that I had a reservation for. When I received the car, tire pressure light and oil change service light were both on. The touch screen display was malfunctioning so I could not even turn on the radio. When I return the rental the next day, I was charged an extra hundred dollars for no reason at all. The rental was extremely dirty, and I would recommend that no one rent from this vendor.

Do not expect your car to be there! We reserved a 12 passenger van for a family vacation in March for our July trip. Call and confirm the reservation a week before. Got there waited two hours to get to the counter for them to say our van wasn’t there. The lady was not helpful at all or understanding of frustration. I ended up spending 4 hours at the airport to finally get a 8 passenger suv! Go with another company. National was great.

Nope nope nope.....one person working for multiple companies. 45 minutes to pick up the car that was reserved in advance! Would give zero stars is that was possible.

They were short cars, had to wait about an hour and a half, only had one person working for Budget and Payless who was doing the best she could but was somewhat rude and loud so I’m sure she embarrassed the guy that didn’t qualify credit wise to use his debit card. The car had several dents in it and the oil change light was on.
