These guys are awesome! I’ve been here twice before and they are always friendly, helpful and have good service but they went above and beyond today. We needed to bring in my daughter’s car (bought used 1 week ago) for a diagnostic because the check engine light came on along with a few other problems. The report back wasn’t good. They had us come back, they lifted the car, explained everything to us their report mentioned, and let us take even more pictures than they had already provided. They were so kind and patient and didn’t even charge us for the diagnostic! I think they felt bad we were obviously sold a broken down car less than a week ago from the dealership. Steve and his entire crew provided extremely poor service. I took my vehicle in for multiple repairs, including suspension work, shocks and struts, tie rods, and a power steering pump. When I received the car, it was in significantly worse condition than when I brought it in. After the initial repairs, Steve recommended additional work—new brake pads, calipers, and a master cylinder—which would have required even more money. At that point, I declined and decided to address those items myself. I had already paid a total of $4,127, despite being quoted $3,800. The very next day, while driving to work, the vehicle began smoking from the brake caliper. I had scheduled a simple tire rotation for 10 am, but I’ve been here for over two hours. It’s ridiculous and incredibly annoying that a single mechanic is working on a Sunday. To make matters worse, they charge insane amounts of money for certain items, like batteries. They even quoted me a battery for 365 dollars! All four of my rotors need to be refurbished, and I was quoted around $500 to $600 for the job. Initially, I agreed to it, but after some thought, I canceled. I then called a family friend who owns a shop called Welker Automotive, it’s in Sanford. They informed me that they usually charge the same amount to replace all four rotors. It’s frustrating that they not only wanted to charge me to refurbish them but also repeatedly insisted that replacing them would cost significantly

I got a flat tire and had to have my car towed to Pep Boys. Steven promptly called me to let me know they had the tires to do the job and I qualified for the promo. He was fantastic at tracking down the missing wheel lock to get the tires off. Some stores would have likely made this my problem but he didn't give up and while it too most of the day they completed the job before the close of business which is all I needed. I've always had great service at this location.
