Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Our car had a spark plug and ignition coil emergency. We came to this pep boys ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON! Within 45 minutes of arriving, the job was complete and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The technician Neto fixed our car and cleared all the errors! Our car drives smooth and awesome!

Mr. Medrano and Tomas were great! Took in my car for a flat tire and they serviced it quickly and efficiently. They had great customer service and were extremely helpful and simplified everything to my understanding. Highly recommended this store!

Had a breakdown halfway between San Diego & Las Vegas and had to be towed in on a late Sunday afternoon. They took us in immediately and went to work. Parts required an overnight stay and they had us back on our way by early afternoon. They’re an outstanding and competent team; than you!

I'm disappointed that Pep Boys doesn't seem to have a grasp of what a warranty is and their customer service seems to be getting even worse. When I first purchased my battery in 2022 I was told I had a 48 month warranty. Fast forward to 12/2025 my battery died. I was comforted thinking that I had a full warranty (even though I was bummed that it died in less than 4 years!). I returned to the same Pep Boys that I purchased the battery and I was told that the "warranty" only covered the original cost of the battery and that the price of batteries have gone up. It turns out that it has gone way, way up! I was responsible for the difference of the battery (roughly half of the original battery!). To add insult to injury I had to pay for installation fees and tire protection fees again! L
