If I could give my service 0 stars I would, as lack of communication and customer service from not just my experience but the reviews I read are very poor. I’m not a person to leave bad reviews but I have never been so aggravated and disappointed in a place. We contacted pepboys about getting 4 tires on our vehicle. They confirmed they had the tires and that we could come in for installation/appointment for 1pm. We drove an hour and 1/2 to make it to this appointment. There was no one in the lobby, there was multiple customers in the line behind us waiting to be served. A staff member came out eventually and looked up our appointment and tires and then went to look to make sure the tires were in stock. My son took his car to this Pep Boys location in Gainesville, just because it was an urgency and this place was the only one open in town. The person at front told him that the mechanic with the tool to fix car issue was gone for the day, he had to leave the car, which was dead at that time, and come back next next. This place charged my son $1,200, yes $1,200 for changing the alternator and place a new battery. They not just left the car with grease and nasty marks all over the place, they lost parts and did not finish the work properly. A month later the car failed again due to the bad job the mechanics did at the Pep Boys in Gainesville. Everyone in this location is like family. I trust them believe what they have to say. They've gone out of the way from when I wanted to buy tires to a simple oil change. To me it's a really going to my neighborhood garage. I appreciate them all. My Alfa Romeo appreciates you more.

Waited 4 hours for a simple cooling system diagnostic. The results of the diagnostic? Replacement of the radiator water cap, and a water hose. There's so much I can say here,but I'm going to let this video,and the photos speak for themselves. Also, the hose was never replaced, and now my vehicle is overheating, which it never did before. I guess being an elderly American Armed forces veterans doesn't mean anything to Pepboys, they will take you for your money every opportunity they get.

After multiple visits, rescheduled (their end), and not getting any service done in the long run..what a joke. They will reschedule your appointment, mind you they don't matter. This location is subpar and guarantee this is not the customer service... Online ordering of tires turned into over 4 hrs of drive time, multiple visits,hours of in house waiting with nobody in the shop working,and ultimately canceling. I tried to be an understanding customer. Day of scheduled visit..machines broke down. It happens...happened early morning however and with knowing I wasn't going to get my work done, yall could've saved me a few hrs of drive time with an e mail...or how about a call?
