Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Went to get tires mounted and balanced. Walked out at 1 hr and 12 minutes with all services completed. Super friendly sales clerk and mechanic. Will definitely use these guys again.

The customer waiting area is filthy and trifling. The staff tried to be friendly but the manager is not customer focused or the least bit welcoming. They add unnecessary labor costs to each individual service, will never visit a pep boys again,

On Nov 29, I went in for new brake pads, new rotors, and a brake fluid exchange at around 3:15pm. Although I appreciated the effort to help me get the best price, the work seemed to be rushed as my car was handed over right at 7pm when the store was set to close. When my car was pulled to the front, it made a loud screeching sound. A technician admitted they had forgotten to drive the car to bed the brakes. They finally gave me my car back, and I was ready to leave the store, but as I reversed, the car made a screeching sound again, so I had to ask them to do it again. I finally left the store and the car drove fine until I exited the freeway. My steering wheel began to violently shake while braking from 60mph to 40mph. I had a unique situation and needed help. Thomas went above and beyond helping me. I was in customer service over 30 years. Thomas was a great example of awesome service.

I'd say go to a different location. Although there was one other customer there, service was slow, I was charged for things I did not agree to, some sort of random $91 warranty, and I had to ask for information for everything. I'm used to better service from Pep Boys. In fact, maybe it's the poor service at this location that they had only one other customer on a Sunday. The only reason I did not go to my normal Pep Boys is the check engine light was on and it was further away.
