Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I got nails in my Tire. Not a lot of people carry the tire, but Pep Boys did and had it In stock. I made a 2 o’clock appointment. Got there at two. They took my car right in and put the new tire on. The service advisor was nice and friendly. Overall, a great experience. I thought the Tire may have been a little overpriced, but it worked out so well I am not complaining. Thank you, Pep Boys.

During my last visit for tire replacement, the service caused serious damage to my vehicle. All four of my wheel rims were scratched, and the Lexus center cap was cracked during removal. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially when working on a customer’s vehicle. I am extremely disappointed with the workmanship and attention to detail. This experience has completely broken my trust, and I will not return to this location again. I hope management takes this issue seriously and improves technician training and quality control to prevent this from happening to other customers.

Shopped tires on their site for my particular vehicle. Easy to do. You'll get a list of tires to fit your vehicle and note any discounts or specials. I selected Cooper tires at this point with a 50k to 55k tread wear along with a 4th tire free of charge. What I like about Pep Boys is they do NOT HAVE ADD ON pricing. You get new tires balanced and installed along with "plugs" included in the price. The only added fee is a $4.00 tire fee for the old tires. Plus, they conduct a free inspection of your vehicle and send the results to your phone. I changed my own engine air filter and the inside cabin filter around 45 days ago. They did not try to tell me I needed any of those two items so this makes me understand they are truthful. (Including wipers). They were fast, around 50 minutes

My car started lagging when I tried to start it, so I took it after work to the Pep Boys in Largo Mall. I always take my car to Joe at that Pep Boys location. Joe took my car back, took a look at it and told me it needed a battery. I trust Joe explicitly, so I told him to please put one in. It took no time at all. I really appreciate Joe and Pep Boys in Largo Mall. I’m a widow and always have to worry about being taken advantage of. I know I’m in good hands at Pep Boys. I wholeheartedly recommend taking all your vehicles to them. Joe and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. And, very importantly, you can trust them!

Largo Store- YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! I’ve been 3 times to buy tires with 3 different Rams Each time has been the absolute best experience I have ever had anywhere! I will continue to do my business here with the Largo Store. Thank you all for caring!
