Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I paid $1200 for all new brakes at the Stockbridge shop in September. The workers in the shop were discussing a lazy coworker. I said please don’t let him do my breaks. A week later knocking in the back when I apply brakes. Went back with an appointment and was turned away and told my appointment didn’t matter they take walk ins first and were booked for the day. I went to the McDonough store and they adjusted something. Now my car shakes violently when I apply brakes. Made a 7am appointment at the McDonough GA store on Jonesboro Rd. Waited until 7:30 and no one showed up for work. Several people were waiting. I ended up taking the car to Mavis. Deep grooves in front rotors that are only 5 months old. I have to pay again for brakes that I just replaced. What good is the Pep boys warranty

Customer service was amazing! Came in right before closing on a Saturday night and was amazed with how quick I was taken care of! Not to down talk certain places/companies but over the phone some would say they have your tire and would have you drive all the way there, just to be told “we would have to order it” but not these guys. They showed how considerate they are to others time. Thanks Mr Alonzo & Jaime.

I had an awesome experience at Pep Boys today. Martin was super cool from the second I walked in — even though I showed up a little late for my appointment, he didn’t give me any attitude at all. The whole team jumped on my car right away, got all four tires mounted and balanced, and had me back on the road in under an hour. Fast service, great communication, and zero stress. Huge shoutout to Martin and the crew — I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 💯

Jamie was amazing at store 1559 from the time i walked in from the time i left. I replied to him your amazing manager. And he responded he wasn’t. My reply the way you respond to customers and your co workers you should. The service was great because of u. I only came to get my headlight bulb put in . You not only put it in but you also gave great customer service. Thank you

Not the worst place I've been to but certainly not the best. I waited three and a half hours for a simple oil change. They thought the oil filter they had in stock wouldn't fit my car so they ordered a whole new one which is what took up most of that time only to realize the one they had in stock was the right fit all along. 3.5 hours!!! On a Wednesday afternoon!! There were only TWO other people waiting!!! My whole day was shot. I really hope they did everything right. I'm concerned about their competence..
