Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I had Dropped off my Prius late the Evening prior via Tow Truck. The Store was located in a Nice, Safe area of Monrovia and felt safe leaving my Car there Overnight. In the Morning, Your Store/Mechanics started working on my Case right away upon Check-in. - and got it done Way Faster than anticipated. I know the Manager ordered the Tire, was expected to come later or 1-2 days later — but it arrived within a couple hours. He helped bring down the cost of my Tire (which was $170) due to the Blow-out and Pro-rated my Prev Purchase, and He answered LOTS of my Questions regarding Flat tires/Tire wear. The Car, alignment felt and drove great after I left the Lot. I also commend Matthew, the Service Tech who went out of his way, Offered, (i declined, but then went back to him for help) on Fixin

I had my tires changed at Pep Boys, but after the service I started feeling abnormal shaking in my car while driving. When I went back and asked them to check if something was wrong, they said the tires needed rotation and fixed it. The frustrating part is that they had already charged me for tire rotation during the initial service, but it clearly wasn’t done properly. The experience made me question the quality of the initial service, and it was frustrating to have to return to correct the issue.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I fell like they don’t push services I don’t need. However I had a 9 am appointment for an oil change. I chose to wait for my car, it took them 5 hours. Apparently the car before me needed extra services and that was the reason for the wait. I get it, but a courtesy call would have been nice, or move the car to another bay and work on it there.

I went to have a tire looked at as recently the low tire pressure light had gone on and after adding air, it hasn't gone on. But still wanted to have it looked at. The service manager was friendly and professional. The tire was OK no leaks except a flaw on the sidewall. I will probably replace soon. Had oil change and all new Wipers done. Service was fast and manager was very thorough in explaining what was done. He did not try to sell me anything like some places do. He said other tires were good. I highly recommend Pep Boys for vehicle needs.

I got exceptional service from Pep Boys in Monrovia, CA. They saved me a ton of money by telling me to buy the part I needed from Auto Zone as it would be cheaper and faster! When I came back they installed it promptly and sent me on my way!!
