This Pep Boys only sells tires and windshield wipers. They perform a variety of services. This is a huge store with limited items in stock. Make an appointment if you need automotive services, otherwise you will be turned away or waiting. They run true to appointment times. They keep you notified as to what is happening with your vehicle. They need more than one sales assistant working on the floor. The sales assistant was helpful and professional. I found the prices to fair.

I called 2 weeks prior to calling management to order some tires. It wasn't until I called management until my tires were finally ordered. Because management got involved a appointment was set up exactly two days later. I scheduled my appointment at noon. I got to the Pep Boys on Busselton Avenue exactly at 11:45. Where I proceeded to sit and wait for 4 hours before they put my car on the lift. As I waited, I repeatedly saw people walk in without appointments to get tires before me. Exactly five people without appointments. I know this because I asked them individually if they were walking in or had a appointment. They all received service before me. Stated Pepboys Corporate, I opened a claim with my Financial institution for Unjustified, unlawful charges for missed work valued at $685.47 on 09/11/2025. Please issue a refund. There were three charges on my card: $1842.24 (installation of a remanufactured engine), $685.47 (unjustified), and $458.19 (installation of battery, tensioner, and alternator). Several errors made by Pepboys at the installation if the remanufactured engine were recorded by a secondary opinion (the authorized body shop I used, Mavis): INCORRECT AMOUNT of oil was installed by Pepboys on the remanufactured engine (5 quarts of oil instead of 4 quarts of oil), which caused the remanufactured engine to overheat and the oil pan to start leaking, the EXHAUST installed by Pepboys were missing screws which caused the reman

I had a good experience at Pep Boys during my recent state inspection. When they told me additional work was needed to pass, I was confused since I had repairs done on that same side of the car about four months ago. The mechanic, Ishmael P, asked that I be brought back to the shop area so I could see the issue myself. He showed me the issue and let me take pictures so I could send them to my husband before deciding to move forward with repairs. Edwin also went over the estimate and explained what the parts were and why they needed to be replaced. The car was finished earlier than the estimated time. Jeff Mainly took care of me though out the process always keeping me informed even though I was quick to Judge because I just got my vehicle used and had alot of issues with the Warranty company but that's not on Pepboys so I correct myself on jumping the gun and being quick to judge. Pepboys did everything they could do provided the resorces and routes they can take when it comes to dealing with the warranty company so I recommend coming here because they will do everything to get your business even if it requires lots of phone calls to the warranty company. I wont be so quick to make judgment next time but solely base it on my customer experience with Pepboys which was great so with that being said I recommend this Pepboys for your needs.
