Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Pep Boys was a great shop. I ordered tires online and had them shipped there. It turned out the tires were the wrong size. I ended up buying my tires at Pep Boys and getting an alignment for less than the 4 tires I had purchased. I ended up brining my husbands truck in the next day for tire balancing and alignment. They were great!

Told me to pay cash for tires with warranty about 4-6 months ago Go back for tire pressure light on I’m not in the system at all recommending 4 new tires 🤦🏼‍♀️ what a joke …. Then they tell me the old manager was fired for fraud and confirm he was fired for similar situations where customers were affected. WHICH I RECORDED ON MY PHONE TO MAKE SURE …. Still refused to fix or replace tire that was sold as a full warranty now they are saying I would have to buy pro rated tires ….. I haven’t even driven 12,000 miles but hey buy new tires called corporate and will be sending a demand for reimbursement or repair.

brought my car here and was in for 2 months. mechanics were unprofessional towards customers. they couldn’t figure out was wrong and replaced and charged me with services i didn’t need. girls in the office were so sweet trying their best to help. took it to another shop after so long with no solution and they figured out what was wrong within an hour. they ended up also finding out that whatever work pep boys did made my car even worse. do not suggest, i hope corporate reinforces standards to assure future satisfaction of customers

Booking the appointment was easy there was plenty of availability, I arrived. 15 minutes early at 2:45 for a 3:00 appointment, estimated repair time was 3:45 my truck wasn’t moved until 4. All the technicians were friendly and professional and communicated well. Time wise I wasn’t in a rush but if I was I would had been frustrated naturally. I had my tires rotated and an alignment done. My truck was pulling pretty hard to the right and they did get it much better but not perfect.. the price was fair.

If you're anything like me, you'll take your car to the most convenient shop for your oil change. This is your sign to use your due diligence and choose wisely moving forward. I took my 2017 Subaru Forester in for a routine oil change and ended up with a totaled engine. Manufacturer requires 0w-20 full synthetic engine oil only and this location used 5w30 engine oil. Yes-- Pepboys corporate ended up paying for a full engine replacement but the process was truly a nightmare. I was without a car for two months. They only reimbursed a fraction of accrued expenses. Their communication was horrible, and this may sound silly, but I never received a simple apology or acknowledgement for their wrongdoing.
