These guy are very genuine. Today we went there to fix the flat tyre issue. Along with this issue they have fixed my other issues too and even didn’t charge us a single penny. Quickly they fixed all the issues for me and even they have also offered some beverages. Made us very comfortable and treated us very well. I’ll go to them very time. Thank you Pep team. I visited this location on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 to diagnose a stalling issue. The gentleman behind the counter got my car in right away and did a full scan on my battery, which came back as full power. He offered a few scenarios as to what could be causing the problem. The young man who tested my battery was very courteous. There was no charge for my visit or for the battery diagnosis, and it turned out that his hypothesis was correct and fixed by my mechanic the next day. I recommend this location wholeheartedly. Nice to know there is a trusted mechanic near my work.

I had a very poor experience at the Pep Boys in Sterling Heights—the staff was not friendly or helpful. I switched to the Troy location and the experience was completely different. Charles was extremely helpful both on the phone and in person. He took the time to explain everything clearly and was genuinely kind and professional. I also noticed how friendly he was with other customers while I was there. The difference in customer service was night and day.

I purchased a set of tires from giga tire for my Tesla Model Y with 20” wheels, and had them installed by Belle tire. A day later I ran over a screw. I temporarily patched my tire but decided that I wanted to put a new tire on and keep the old (still new) tire as a spare. I bought another tire from Giga, and this time I decided to have Pep Boys install the tire and give me the one being replaced so that I could patch it and have it as a spare. When I got home I was able to look at my old tire and noticed that there were chunks of the side wall cut out in addition to multiple slash marks 180 degrees apart.
