Performance Plus Transmission

Was told to diagnose then call me. Instead, done no more than hook up a couple ground cables and charged 600 dollars. These guys rebuilt 2 transmissions for me as well as 2 guys that I referred to them. Lesson learned. Next time will be with a shop that appreciates a loyal customer

I took my vehicle to this shop to have my tire rods replaced and a sensor in my transmission fixed. Spent 700 dollars. Everything seemed great. As I drove away from the shop , I noticed my car had no power steering whatsoever. Which was definitely not an issue before I dropped it off with them. I called the shop and was told they would tow it for free and fix the power steering for free as well ( since NOTHING was wrong with my power steering before they worked on my car ). After almost 2 weeks , I get the call my car had been fixed. I get to the shop and was told I owed them $286. I paid it and left. A day later , my power steering was messed up once again. A complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here.

They went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They even noticed another issue underneath my vehicle and fixed it for me at no cost. The team is dedicated and have a passion for the work and their customer service. Although it was expensive, the work was needed and it was done well. I will recommend them to anyone. You pay for what you get and what I got was my vehicle repaired, future issues addressed and peace of mind.

I must say that I did read the previous reviews prior to taking my car to Performance and I should have had the forethought before deciding to go ahead with the repairs. I truly wish I had not gone to this repair shop. The original repairs took longer than I expected. I drove my car for about a month before having to take it back for the same issue. I then drove the car for several more weeks before having to take it back again. This time they had changed locations to North Augusta, SC. It took a few days and my car was returned to me. Again, same issue. At this time I took the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic check. The findings were exactly what I had paid Performance to correct. AGAIN, I took the car back to Performance with the paperwork from the dealer stating the problem. I fel
