I needed to have new front shocks installed on my car and went to Peruva to have it done. They did a great job for a decent price and very quickly. Alam was a pleasure to work with. Very informative and very helpful, not to mention being a nice guy. Plus they shined my car's chrome rims before they delivered it to me! Highly recommended. Before and after pix.

In June 2018 my VW Vanagon was stolen from Peruva's shop after the key was left in it, door unlocked. I had taken it in to have the brakes checked and Luis told me it was "running good". Luis minimized the damage done by the theft, saying he'd "take care of it", so I let him talk me out of involving my insurance company; big mistake! He admitted to "painting a few scratches" and when it wouldn't start, changing out the starter, then the clutch, then the transmission. I didn't get it back for many months. When I did, it wouldn't start. Had it towed to Bus Lab in Berkeley. On my way home in it, the belt broke . . . loose nuts in the fly wheel! The paint job Luis did was terrible. I finally got my insurance company involved, too late. They were reluctant to help, but finally agreed to

I have used Peruva several times over the years for auto body wok. I couldn’t be happier. The work is excellent, the price is reasonable and far less than the local competition. I just picked up my car after repairs to the front passenger fender and tailgate. The work is excellent. I got in my car to drive away and noticed the interior was fully cleaned and the upholstery conditioned. They also buffed out some stubborn water stains off the hood. All on their initiative and free of charge. Who does that?
