Pfafftown Car Wash

I tried this car wash near our house, it was nice, knowing we have a local car wash in our area, save me time running an errand, and best part is you can chose which fits to your budget! I tried $10, it was awesome, the machine works fine! There is teleprompter that you just follow and everything will be smooth. After the winter storm my nissan rogue is perfectly clean. BEWARE! I paid $8 today for the regular "touchless" automatic car wash. I drove through the bay and stopped when instructed. The machinery went down the left side of my car with soap, around the back, and started to the right. I heard a LOUD thump on my car and looked to see the big arm/machinery laying on my car! The lights and machinery STOPPED! NOTHING! The whole process was about 30 seconds before it malfunctioned and landed ON my car, leaving half my car covered in soap! I got out and called the # on the sign. It went to voicemail. I left a message and stayed for 45 minutes! I was NOT called back! I wasn't about to chance paying AGAIN to rinse my car in the other manual bays. I was forced to just wipe off the soap with wipes I had and dry with a towel. This is unacceptable! The sign s

**SCAMMER ALERT** I would recommend to NOT use this car wash service. This owner really has incorrect prices up and will charge your card more than the advertised price. I specifically chose the $6 deluxe and instead of charging my card $6, I get charged $10. If $10 is the price then that needs to be advertised than advertising the incorrect price. Thats a scam and fraudulent. The car wash itself is only worth $1, if that. The car wash is run down and it looks nasty. I will *never* be back.

Pre soak didn't work. Other than that it's a decent self-service wash. $3 for 8 minutes is a fair price. They do charge your card $10 but it'll update to $3 after a couple days.

Chemicals are very slow to come out, and in return, they slow you down to wash your vehicle promptly to save time! Also, the dial didn't work properly and rinsed when I wanted wax. He needs a bit of work around there to make it more user-friendly!
