Piketon Nursing Center

My husband received rehab here after suffering a stroke, and I can’t say enough good things about this facility. From the moment he arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone—from the nurses and therapists to the aides and front desk—was incredibly friendly, loving, and attentive. Then facilities clean and well maintained. The nurses went above and beyond every single day. They treated him not just as a patient, but as family. You could tell they truly cared about his recovery and comfort. The Activities Director also went above and beyond to keep the residents engaged and encouraged, bringing joy and laughter even on tough days. The Nutritionist took the time to make sure his meals met his needs and supported his recovery, and that personal touch meant so much. It g

Staff gossips too much instead of actually taking care of the residents. So many UTIs, a things there. ice water not being passed enough. Not enough care given. Building runs short staff a lot especially on nights. Housekeeping almost non existent. No structure in management no leadership in that building. STNAs worrying about trying to “run off staff” instead of helping with their residents. STNAs going through residents charts and sitting behind nurses stations. Facility is unkept and unclean a lot of residents haven’t had baths in weeks there nails and toes dirty.

You will not regret placing a family member in this nursing home, the employees address amazing. They take their time to make sure everyone feels special. The building is gorgeous, they keep it clean, and well maintained. Best decision ever.

This facility is beautiful and well taken care of, the staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend long term care at this nursing center for any of your loved ones.
