Pine Run Village

I am a nurse who has been doing hospice for the past 10 years. I have been to many communities over the years and pine run has always stood out as one of the few that I would feel comfortable having my own loved one stay at. One of the best things about the community is if your loved one runs out of funds and can no longer afford to pay for their stay, pine run does not send them to a Medicaid facility, they continue to care for them at no cost to the family or resident. Most other communities will discharge your loved one within 30 days of running out of funds and your loved one ends up at a facility that is not ideal for later stages of life.

My dad has been a resident in memory care at Pine Run Village since 2022. I was very happy with the level of care he was receiving until the change of ownership. When Presbyterian first took over there were a lot of staffing changes and the level of care suffered. Glen recently became the lead administrator on the memory care floor and since then I feel the level of care has definitely been improving back to what it had been before.
