Fantastic experience with these guys. I just moved to Pleasanton and then my transmission went out. I have a good friend in Modesto who owns a transmission shop. I called them to ask if the price I was given from Pleasanton Transmission was reasonable. He told me that it was actually surprisingly low, and I needed to be sure that everything was included. It turns out that everything was indeed included. Very fair prices, and they seem to have done a great job with my transmission repair! The owner came to me afterwards and shook my hand and thanked me for my business. No complaints whatsoever and their professionalism made a really bad situation a lot more tolerable.

I highly recommend Pleasanton Transmission & Automotive to anyone in need of transmission and auto repair. I was at work when I noticed a leak under my truck and figured out it was coming from the transmission cooling lines going to the radiator. I googled the nearest transmission shop near me and was lucky enough to be close to Pleasanton Transmission and drove over there. Pete, the owner, was kind enough to take a quick look to diagnosis the problem. Luckly it was just fittings needing to be replaced and wouldn't take long. I couldn't leave my truck there, so he made sure it was safe to drive and we set an appointment the next morning. When I arrived, Pete got my truck in immediately and fixed it. I would recommend Pete to anyone. His work was excellent rebuilding my F-150 transmission, and I have since used him since for other repairs. He is a talented and caring business owner. Great guy and great mechanic!

I had an emergency situation with my car light that needed to be fixed for a DMV test. No place was able to help me. They all said to book in advance. But then I found Pleasanton transmissions & automotive. Pete took me in immediately and sorted out the problem. In a blink of an eye I was done and on the road to the Dmv. I was so grateful for all his help. Very down to earth and respectable. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs work done.

I recently had my transmission fixed by Pete at Pleasanton Transmissions. I called a few other places and decided to use Pete based on his experience and price. He's local and does what he says he's going to do. I'd recommend him to anyone needing work done and would definitely use him again in the future for any other work I have that might come up.
