Ponderosa Self-Serve Car Wash

Before I went there I read a lot of the reviews and there were people saying that the owner come up and was telling them how to wash their car and telling him how far to pull up and how to do the wash by yourself. Here's the thing The owner is Asian I believe and that is just how they are he doesn't mean anything by it but he wants you to do it the right way so you have the best experience. He's the owner he knows where your bumpers should be to where the hose goes all the way around your vehicle without hitting your vehicle. He also came up when I was doing my wheels and tires I just spray the tire cleaner on there let it sit and then rinse it off with high pressure he came up and told me no you got to use the brush that's attached to the sprayer that spraying the tire cleaner. Mmmm.

it's a poorly maintained, old place and THE MAN that work here is very RUDE. he didnt know nothing about good costumer service! I needed two coins for my second wash, and I gave him my $1 bill thinking he was going to give me 4 quarters, but he gave me a $1 coin . I told him please, I only needed two quarters because I had already put it in the machine and his response was very disdainful. He said, ("I don't care about that, it's your problem, So you have to use it anyway.) I'm pretty sure he had a quarters coins. And even if he didn't, response of (I don't care, it's your problem) really? I'll never come back here again.

The best self service car wash in town! The stalls are always working properly. The owner Charlie is real nice always respectful. My car always shiny when I leave here.

I’ve been coming here to wash my car for a good couple years. This time the owner showed up and said WASHING CARS WITH BUCKETS IS NOT ALLOWED. What? - I asked. He respected that WASHING CARS BY HAND WITH BUCKET AND A SPONGE IS NOT ALLOWED BECAUSE ITS A BUSINESS. I was alone there, all the rest of the bays were empty. Takeaway: washing cars on a self-service car wash by hand is not allowed. Don’t go there, don’t waste your time because it’s a BUSINESS, not a car wash.

I went in to use the self serve car wash. They don’t have a credit/debit card so they only take cash. The wash bay only take coins but, they have a change machine by bay 1. For $5 you get 10 minutes of washing which is enough time. The owner was around but didn’t make any contact.
