Mike and Aaron at Pope are probably the best service advisors to work with. They earned my trust with the first vehicle I have brought to them, and I have had them look at three so far. The moment they earned my full trust is when they admitted they couldn’t 100% diagnose a noise. Instead of saying replacement of struts would for sure fix the issue, they recommended to keep driving the vehicle (and making sure it was going to be safe to do so) and bring it back when the noise is louder to find out the root cause. Will keep bringing my vehicles to them as long as they continue being this honest. Recommend them for all services, including pre purchase inspections!

My car broke down not far from this shop on a Friday afternoon, and, they had really good Google reviews. They set me up with the phone numbers of a couple of tow truck operators they work with, I got my cat towed over. I got a call just before close letting me know they were going to send a text with all the info they gathered on my car. They sent me a text before they closed up at 5pm giving me the run down of everything they could find wrong with my car. After selecting the items I wanted to work on and approving the estimate, I was hoping my car would be good to go by mid week. I was pleasantly surprised to get the call that it was done and ready for pickup and off day on Monday. They ran through everything with me on the phone, and made sure I understood. I needed my transmission replaced and the crew at Pope was very easy to work with and great people and they really tried helping me out as best they could but the circumstances of my visit warranted a two star review at best. I dropped the truck off on my way to the airport for an out of town trip with an expected return of 14 days later. The used transmission was supposed to take two days to ship, it ended up taking 13 and the one that arrived at their shop had a cracked case. At this point I am already back home and having to pay for a rental car. I receive a courtesy car from Pope auto with a quarter tank of fuel and the gas door latch did not work so I could not add fuel to it. This was my first time going to Pope Automotive, as I was done going to the dealership to get robbed. So this was a trial run for me. And let’s just say, they will be my mechanic for life!! Here are the reasons why. 1. The statement of work: The statement they texted me after doing their inspection and looking at everything I wanted checked out was super impressive. It was lined item with comments from the technician that even included pictures and videos. It even indicated items that were critical to fix now, not so critical and items that passed. 2. The estimate of work: Their system is the BEST!! It gave upfront pricing (including labor and part charges) and let me approve or deny any of the recommended work.
